Educational Qualification (Minimum):
(1) National Medium: Passed in any one of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Certificate/equivalent examinations with a GPA of 5.00 and a GPA of 4.50 in the other.

(2) English Medium: Passed in 3 out of 6 subjects at ‘O’ Level with ‘A’ grade, 3 out of 6 subjects at ‘B’ grade and 2 out of 6 subjects at ‘A’ Level with a minimum of ‘B’ grade.

(3) For candidates working in the Armed Forces: Passed in both HSC and SSC examinations separately with a minimum GPA of 4.00.

(4) Application Process for Regular HSC/’A’ Level Candidates of 2023: It is specially noted that regular HSC/’A’ Level candidates of 2023 can apply; in this case, candidates must have SSC GPA-5.00/ ‘A’ grade in 3 out of 6 subjects at ‘O’ Level, ‘B’ grade/equivalent results in 3 out of 6 subjects. Selected candidates can participate in ISSB only after appearing in HSC/'A' Level examination. In both the mediums, the results of HSC/'A' Level examination must be published before joining BMA; no candidate will be able to join BMA without the results.

16 years 6 months to 21 years as on 01 January 2024 (affidavit not acceptable); 18-23 years as on 01 January 2024 for candidates working in the armed forces.
